Spirituality Enfleshed

Spirituality is flesh aligned with God and creation, it is mercy walking east of Eden, it is redemption with a hand reaching out to the broken, it is a healing power that radiates through sweat and tears spent on hope without regret.

Becoming spirit yet remaining an enfleshed creature is learning to follow Christ.

Spirit seeks the wisdom of God that is sewn into creation to structure reality for the flourishing of life. Spirit is the insight of a moral imagination pushing through the contrary powers that warp reality with violence.

Our spirituality is displayed as the power within us to be who we are regardless of our circumstances; meaning, contentment with an indomitable spirit is the one who finds their identity in Christ Jesus.

A person who keeps their mortality close, remains humble, and continually seeks to be a child of God in a crooked world is a spiritual person.
