God is culpable for our existence, for the human condition, and guilty only of being merciful. Our crucified God, victim of a death penalty, invites us to look upon the ultimate revelation of both God and ourselves.
Our powers of empire (the state), religion, and the crowd put both God and humanity on a cross. The resurrection affirms God and humanity beyond the reality of life as we now know it. In the Spirit we are invited to enter, in the present, a world to come, a world that we manifest when we learn to have the heart of God.
When you abhor violence, treat all human beings as sacred, control your appetite for more, and live every moment knowing and caring that God is watching, you can touch heaven.
Yes, God is culpable and so are you!
